Chamber Music Program

The chamber music program will be taking this year off.

Teacher Workshops

On the Friday before the festival, teacher training workshops are held for strings and piano to assist teachers in furthering and enhancing their education.

This year we’re offering a 10 hour SAA Enrichment Course for teachers. Alice Kanack will be teaching “Creative Ability Development” (CAD).  The musical concepts are universal, so all teachers will be combined in this course which makes musicality and improvisation surprisingly accessible to all – for both those with a strong analytic learning style, and those who are naturally creative.  Alice has been teaching & developing this method since 1982. Come this year and enjoy your larger SAWS teacher community, while gaining easily adaptable musical skills for your studio.
