Teacher Scholarships: Four $400 scholarships awarded

We offer four $400 scholarships for teachers who are current members of SAWS and want to continue their Suzuki Teacher Training education by taking short or long-term Suzuki teacher training.
Please only apply if you are a SAWS member. We will check membership status of applicants and will not consider applications by non-members.
Teacher Scholarships
Student Scholarships: Nine $400 scholarships awarded
Deadline: March 17
We offer seven $400 scholarships for any Suzuki institute and two $400 scholarships for the Japan-Seattle Suzuki Institute. Scholarships are for students whose teacher is a current members of SAWS. Student’s teacher will need to submit a letter of recommendation.
We offer summer institute scholarships for students and teachers and we sponsor a statewide graduation process culminating in a recital at our state festival. We welcome your membership and involvement! 
We are an association of music teachers and parents who support the educational method and philosophy of Shinichi Suzuki. The Suzuki Association of Washington State provides members with various opportunities for sharing experiences and insights, from our graduation process for students to our annual student festival and teacher workshop.
