Scholarships

SAWS offers several types of scholarships for committed students with financial need. Participation in all programs requires that the students’ teacher be an active member of SAWS. Parents should not apply for SAWS membership. We currently only have a membership for teachers.

Student Institute Scholarships: Several scholarships up to $500 awarded annually.  click here

We offer several scholarships for any Suzuki institute. Scholarships are for students whose teacher is a current member of SAWS.  Student’s teacher will need to submit a letter of recommendation. Application window will be February 15 – March 15.

Teacher Training Scholarships: Several scholarships up to $500 awarded annually. click here.

We offer several scholarships for teachers who are current members of SAWS and want to continue their Suzuki Teacher Training education by taking short or long-term Suzuki teacher training. Application window will be February 15 – March 15.

Student Lesson Scholarships: Several scholarships awarded twice annually. click here

Students & Teachers apply jointly to receive a lesson scholarship. Funds will be distributed to the students’ home teacher to be deducted from the student’s lesson fees. There are two application windows each year, once in the Winter (February 15 – March 15 application window) and once in the Fall (September 1 – September 30 application window).
